New Criteria to Evaluate Philanthropy of Merging Banks

Aaron Dorfman of National Committee for Responsive Philanthropy talks about their white paper addressed to federal bank regulators about concrete standards for evaluating claims.

According to Dorfman, the paper defines objective benchmarks to evaluate whether the philanthropic component of any future merger will help create public benefit that outweighs systemic risk.
