The Council of Foundations Vice President for Legal Government Relations Andrew Schulz shared his view on the public policy agenda of the council as the grantmkers gear up for the annual Foundations on the Hill.
According to Schulz, he was thrilled about a change in the White House about charitable deducation. The president's FY 2012 bydget will revive his previously-rejected proposal for capping itemized deductions at 28% tax rate.
