Treasure Valley Community College Foundation had its 2012 reception for scholarship donors and recipients with a lot of reasons to celebrate, with keynote speaker Maureen Thomas Carnahan--a former TVCC board member who continues to support the college and was a backer of the science center campaign.
Foundation President Dana Young said the Foundation has more than $3 million in assets and about $200,000 is awarded annually to students.
