Northwestern Health Foundation recently renamed the building the Aschenbrener Center for Philanthropy in honor of the foundation's retiring president Thomas Aschenbrener.
Chris Palmedo, director of public affairs for the foundation said Aschenbrener was the founding president, so it was a big deal that he be recognized in an important way.
