Grant Purpose - The project goal is to strengthen the community foundation field in the Czech Republic. During the grant period, the Czech Association of Community Foundations will improve its current services for members and develop new services, promote community foundations as vehicles for community development in the Czech Republic, support the development of new community foundations, and identify new sources of revenue for the association and its members. The association was established in September 2006 with the mission to develop the community foundation field in the Czech Republic, strengthen the capacity of its members, and represent Czech community foundations at the national and international levels. Currently, members include four community foundations and three support organizations involved in providing services to community foundations and other grantmakers at the local level. Since its establishment, the association has been providing information, consultations, and networking opportunities to its members.
