Grant Purpose - This grant will provide partial support to the Michigan Chamber Foundation for the Just for the Kids Best Practices Institute for High Priority Schools for 2008. The institute was designed to build relationships between school leaders from both high performing and high priority schools to share successful processes and practices and to create coaching or mentoring partnerships that can assist the high priority schools. Through this process, the Just for the Kids Best Practices Institute for High Priority Schools has been able to facilitate the transformation of 15 schools and will now attempt to do the same with six more high priority schools from across the state of Michigan.
