World Wildlife Fund Grant

Organization - World Wildlife Fund
Grant Amount - $150,000
Foundation - Mott Foundation
Grant Purpose - Through its Southeastern Rivers and Streams Support Fund, the World Wildlife Fund, an international conservation organization, provides small grants and networking opportunities to organizations committed to protecting and restoring aquatic resources in the Cumberland, Mobile, and Tennessee river basins. With prior Mott funding, the support fund has been used to build the capacity of local, state, and regional organizations, fostering a stronger collective voice for regionwide conservation. With continued Mott support, the support fund will be used to promote the implementation of the Clean Water Act and related programs, and support policies and practices that address stormwater and water conservation concerns in Alabama, Tennessee, and portions of other states in the previously mentioned river basins.
