Those interested in a career in information technology have access to training through Jefferson State Community College. A grant from the Greater Birmingham Community Foundation will cover registration and allowances for low-income adults, with a focus on women and minorities.
The goal is to provide expenses for at least 40 unemployed low-income adults.
