Grant Purpose - The Scale Academy, a project of the Aspen Institute, provides technical assistance and peer-learning activities to eight microenterprise organizations with potential to achieve greater scale in service delivery. By the end of this grant, these eight organizations will realize a marked increase in the number of clients served and/or loans made. Up to 30 additional organizations will have increased their capacity to achieve scale through participating in short-term programs of training and technical assistance directed at critical skills. Finally, another 100 to 150 organizations will be assisted through in-person and online training at training institutes, conferences, and through MicroPro, the Association for Enterprise Opportunity's new web resource.
