Grant Purpose - The program goal is to promote and develop philanthropy in Romania. During the grant period, the Association for Community Relations will carry out research to establish the current state of and opportunities for philanthropy; build the capacity of nonprofit organizations to raise local resources by providing training and technical assistance; disseminate information about fundraising mechanisms and successful practices; and develop innovative fundraising programs. Activities will also build on existing efforts to develop philanthropy throughout Central and Eastern Europe. The association's past achievements include publishing two comprehensive studies on funding for nonprofit organizations in Romania, organizing annual conferences on corporate philanthropy, raising awareness about existing incentives for philanthropy for businesses and individuals, and supporting fundraising efforts of nonprofit organizations on the local and national levels.

Rivaayat is an initiative by Shri Ram College of Commerce, Delhi to revive various dying art form and solve innumerable problems faced by the artisans. Rivaayat began with reviving a 20,000-year-old art form of pottery that is a means of survival for 600 families residing in Uttam Nagar, Delhi.
